According to a report, Alexander Smirnov is accused of lying to the fbi about Joe Biden and his son, Hunter accepting bribes from energy company, Burisma. Reportedly, the prosecution said Mr Smirnov gave false statements because he disliked Joe Biden who was the democratic presidential candidate at the time.
According to the report, republicans have used Mr Smirnov’s claims in an ongoing bid to impeach president Biden. Reportedly, he alleges that Hunter Biden was hired during a series of meetings in 2015 and 2016 when his dad was vice president in order to protect them through his dad from all sorts of problems. According to the report, Burisma who sold iraqi oil was the subject of a criminal investigation conducted by the ukrainian prosecutor general who was fired in 2016. Reportedly, Mr Smirnov transformed his business contact with Burisma in 2017. According to the report, he alleges that Burisma paid Joe and Hunter Biden $5 million each so that Joe Biden would take care of issues relating to the company’s legal problems. Reportedly, Mr Smirnov was arrested on Thursday.
