Wives and mothers call on president Putin to stop sending men to the slaughter

According to a report, at the end of February China published a peace plan for Ukraine, but kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov has said there is no prospect for peace. Reportedly, the kremlin spokesman told journalists on Monday, “Russia’s goals in the Ukraine can only be achieved by military means. For us, the absolute priority continues to be and will always remain the achievement of our goals”.

According to the report, a group of wives and mothers are calling on president Putin to stop sending mobilised men to the slaughter. Reportedly, a Ukraine military commander said the wagner group are sustaining significant losses as they advance from several directions around the besieged eastern city of Bakhmut. According to the report, a wagner chief said that his troops are nearing the city centre but ukrainian troops are fighting fiercely for every metre.

Reportedly, Ukraine has said that attacks by wagner have so far been repelled. “The situation around Bakhmut remains difficult. Wagner group are trying to advance to the centre of the city. In the course of fierce battles our defenders have inflicted significant losses on the enemy. All the enemies attempts to capture the city are repelled by artillery, tanks and other fire power”.
