Mi5 is believed to be responsible for the collection, analysis and exploitation of information, reportedly in the areas of law enforcement, national security, the military and foreign policy. According to documentation, means of information gathering includes espionage, communication interception, internet surveillance and as called intelligence assessment or intelligence analysis. The former being described as, as called behaviour forecasts or recommended courses of action to the leadership of organizations. The latter being said to be a collection of cognitive methods, and the evaluation and altering of information within an as described secret social or cultural setting. The as called analysist has the authority to secretly alter data held by organizations, believed to consist of the passing on of deliberately misleading information. Intelligence agencies such as mi5 are said to be involved with national and international crisis management, and to covertly influence the outcome of events to serve national interests. During world war 2, a German citizen spoke to MI5 about the death camp she lived adjacent to. She had noticed an influx of prisoners every day and no one ever came out, the burning every evening and a mountain of shoes and other belongings. According to all sources, MI5 passed on the information to the ministry of defence but no action was taken, for instance they could have targeted the railways leading to the death camps. The u.k. ministry of defence have not since explained why they failed to act.
During an interview with the u.k. m.o.d. regarding national security some time ago, Prince Charles was named as second in command. This may have since been denied, even so leads to the question who is the executive? If the original interview is to be believed, the answer is probably Prince Philip. And with regard to the current oil conflicts and a history of past colonialism and exploitation, where is the value of the assets taken? Not believed to be in the British government’s bank account.
