According to a report, marches through Warsaw marked the 34th anniversary of an end to communism. Reportedly, marchers were opposition parties joined by civic groups, lgbt and women’s rights groups. Reportedly, the protests followed a bill passed last week that will form a commission to investigate russian influence and collaboration since 2007.
According to the report, the commision will investigate russian influence on the internal security of Poland, including public figures and businesses that have ties to Moscow. Reportedly, according to the text the bill will apply to public officials or senior management who between 2007-22 under russian influence acted to the detriment of the interests of Poland.
