United nations security council vote to stay in Mali

Around 13,000 as described u.n. troops and about 2000 police officers are seemingly extending their as called peace keeping mission in Mali. Apparently known as MINUSMA (french) or the multdimensional integrated stabilizing mission in Mali. It was reportedly established in 2013 by u.n. security council resolution 2100 because of an as called Tuareg rebellion in 2012. Thought to be a fight against western influences. The u.n. security council vote to extend proceedings in Mali which reportedly took place on Monday was said to have been unanimous.
