According to a report, the u.s. have failed to approve a 600 billion aid package to Ukraine but there is a possibility they will supply them with air defense missiles requested by Ukraine for months. Reportedly, Japan are supplying the u.s. with patriot air defense missiles following a request from the u.s. that Japan change its military export rules.
According to the report, previously Japan only allowed for military components to be sent from Japan to the nation the manufacturing license originated, but under new rules can export finished goods. Reportedly, Japan is also manufacturing artillery shells made under license from british aerospace, the finished product can now be exported to the u.k.
