Ukraine destroys 34% of Russia’s cruise missiles

According to a report, russian and ukrainian delegates are meeting in Istanbul on Monday for peace talks, but expectations are low.

Reportedly, Ukraine said that on Sunday it destroyed 40 russian war planes, that is 34% of Russia’s cruise missile carriers in an operation targeting 4 military bases.

According to the report, Ukraine first smuggled drones into Russia followed by mobile wooden cabins. Reportedly, 117 drones were hidden in the cabins which had remotely operated roofs and were hidden on trucks brought near the airbases until they were opened remotely. According to the report, people involved in the operation left prior to the attack.

Reportedly, ukrainian authorities said Ukraine had experienced a drone and missile attack over the weekend. According to reports, Russia currently controls about 20% of ukrainian territory, including the Crimean peninsula.
