The ecumenical movement

The ecumenical movement is often identified by its political involvement with regards to referencing some political candidates, and the inordinate criticism of others, which isn’t Christian. It is thought to be a takeover from the church of England, in the form of Parish Priests being replaced by anglican priests, often unbeknown to parishioners. Terms such as Anglo catholic abound. Consequences are changes in policies, often sweeping; critics criticised unduly; spiritual directors as delegates under supreme command and ecumenical candidates in administrative positions. Results in people being told how to behave, and discrimination on the grounds of culture or dissent. May result in no services or worse. Individuals or groups becoming targets. Not Christian.
