Social justice  report on housing for all

According to a report, a new social justice publication suggests a number of reccomendations across various housing policy areas with a view to housing for all, the government’s new housing plan,  though only one proposal has so far been innitiated, a commision on housing which met for the first time this week.

According to reports, with regard to the rental market, the housing assistance payment and the rental accommodation scheme fails to facilitate a fair and reasonable rent, costs the government greviously and is no substitute for the building of affordable council type housing.
