Russian election

According to a report the turnout for the Russian parliamentary election, September 17-19 was 51.72%. United Russia won 324 seats, the Communist party of the Russian Federation 57 seats, A Just Russia 27, Liberal Democratic party of Russia 21, New People 13 and Independent 5, candidates unpublished.

Reportedly United Russia formed as a merger of the unity party and The Fatherland, All Russia OVR. The kremlin were said to be wary of an OVR victory. According to a report, since United Russia became the dominant party President Putin has passed 93% of legislation compared to a previous 73%.

Alexia Navalny is the jailed leader of Russia for the Future, founded in 2012. The party is reformist and openly opposes United Russia whose philosophy reportedly is conservatism, nationalism, pragmatism and statism.
