Psni investigate explosion in Donegal

According to reports, ten people are confirmed dead in an explosion in the village of Creeslough, Co. Donegal on Friday afternoon. Reportedly, police from northern Ireland who crossed the border to investigate the incident were met by garda, and on commencing an investigation of the site, the Garda technical bureau were joined by emergency services northern Ireland. According to a report, though a witness said the explosion sounded like a bomb, a psni officer who described the incident as the worst in a long time said he believed it to be a tragic accident.

Reportedly, the site contained a petrol station, post office, hairdressers, shop and apartments, and the explosion caused the building to partially collapse. According to a report, local people gathered around garda cordons on Saturday for news of loved ones who were in the shop or apartments at the time.
