Polish Presidential Election

According to a report, Carol Nawrocki won the presidency in the polish election on Sunday. Reportedly, Mr Nawrocki, a traditionalist is backed by the Conservative Law & Justice party (PiS) and is said to be representing ordinary Polish interests, identity and security, which may complicate Poland’s relationship with the e.u.

According to the report, Mr Nawrocki has been congratulated by Hungary’s prime minister, Viktor Orban, and the french National Rally leader Marine Le Pen called the win good news for Europe and a setback for the Brussels oligarchy and it’s authoritarian policies. Reportedly, the new president promised to block nato membership for Ukraine.
