According to a report, the private jet carrying Yevgeny Prigozhin was flying enroute from Moscow to St Petersburg when it came down about 60 km north of the russian capital. Reportedly, seven passengers and three crew members were on board. A wagner rebellion in June occurred following a period of increasing tensions between the then wagner boss and the russian defence ministry, lead to a deal that Mr Prigozhin relocate to Belarus, which he did briefly. Mr Prigozhin openly criticised the russian ministry of defence for corruption and mishandling of the Ukraine war.
