Reportedly patients in the United States can now access their medical records online. According to the report nearly all are in favour of a patient’s right to access their own notes. Said might include procedure and progress notes, patient’s history, examinations, imaging, laboratory and pathology reports plus discharge summaries. Might include a copy of pre-operation consent forms for patient to read at leisure.
