According to a report, u.s. officials said on Monday that negotiations were underway to get a pause for hostage deal by March 10. Reportedly, the Paris framework worked out by Israel, the u.s., Egypt and Qatar involves hamas releasing 40 hostages including women, children and the elderly and ill in return for a six week pause in the fighting, and Israel releasing hundreds of palestinian convicts.
According to the report, Israel insist the ceasefire will be temporary but hamas said they want a permanent end to the war.
