Pegasus

According to a report, the fbi acquired Israeli nso group’s pegasus spyware for $9 million in 2019. Reportedly the deal went ahead following a long process of disagreements over how much  control the nso group would retain over its spyware. Are sanctions the ideal?

According to reports, the u.s. are talking about the possibility of sanctioning the russian president who became controversial during the intrigue surrounding Alexei Navalny’s imprisonment, but is imprisoning Julian Assange along the same lines?

The u.s. freezing of assets is now commonplace with regard to national assets and among individuals, but its stealing. No one has mentioned freezing the u.s. president’s assets though his family had interests in a multi billion dollar Ukraine company selling Iraqi oil.
