Reportedly, General Tiani signed two orders authorising the defence and security forces of Burkina Faso and Mali to intervene on Nigerian territory in the event of an attack.

Wagner boss killed in airplane crash
According to reports, the leader of wagner, Yevgeny Progozhin and his right hand man Dimitri Utkin are believed to have been killed when their private plane crashed near Moscow. Reportedly, according to u.s. sources Russia’s intelligence agency fsb were likely behind the crash. Progozhin led a shortlived mutiny against the russian military in June concerning conditions in Ukraine.

Bomb blast in Pakistan
According to a report, atleast eleven labourers were killed in an attack in Pakistan’s north western region when an improvised explosive device exploded under their vehicle. Reportedly, more than 300 attacks have hit Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province this year with a majority claimed by the ttp. According to the report, the ttp was founded in 2007, it operates independently from the afghan taliban.

According to reports, delegates from ecowas visited Niger on Saturday for talks with coup leaders and to visit the deposed president. Reportedly, the new regime have proposed a three year transition to civilian rule, the details to be decided in 30 days at a dialogue to be hosted by the coup leaders. According to a report, the dialogue would define national priorities and call for fundamental values to guide the rebuilding of Niger.
