News Sudan

According to reports, civil war in Sudan began in April with a conflict between general Burhan the leader of the armed forces and his deputy who became leader of the rapid support forces (rsf). Reportedly, a recent flight was the first passenger plane to fly into Sudan since war broke out. According to the report, Port Sudan is the only airport that has opened, the capital, Khartoum has experienced daily airstrikes, gun battles and artillery fire.

According to a report, atleast 50 people have been killed and more than 50 injured in a bomb attack near a mosque in Pakistan. Reportedly, a spokesman for the police said two suicide bombers and a vehicle full of explosives were intercepted at the gate to a mosque, one of the bombers was neutralised when the bomb went off. According to the report, the roof of the mosque fell and people may be trapped under the rubble. Reportedly, the mosque is part of a police complex that has a capacity for 40-50 people. According to the report, the area borders Afghanistan and Iran but islamic state are thought to be responsible.

Reportedly, another bomb attack occurred at a mosque in north western Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, injured people were helped by bystanders and emergency workers. In July in the province more than 40 people were killed in a suicide bomb attack at a political rally.
