Whose directive?

Covid figures suggest that there is a trend towards chronic symptoms isolated into certain areas so why the nationwide lockdown? Chronic symptoms are highly contagious even so. Is the government instigating innitiatives such as free cough medicines rather than special protective clothing to hospitals with no covid patients?

There has been warnings over the years regarding contraband cigarettes, plentiful in north and inner city Dublin. Not believed to pass health and safety requirements, some seemingly find their way into the shops. Could be an approach. Viruses are attracted to similar detail.

According to the news there are 7000 migrants on Lesbos seemingly hoping to assimilate. Probably from areas of u.n. control, there are indications they were advised to leave. Seemingly Greece, Germany and France foot the bill, but what about local resources, and what are they escaping from?

Facebook are warning that they may make facebook unavailable in europe, reportedly following a ban on it’s sharing of data, if enforced. The ban is said to be the work of the data protection commission who reportedly went through the european court of human rights in July. According to the report, the court decided that Facebook did not place adequate guards to protect the privacy of consumers, though any individual chooses what information can be seen by the public on his or her Facebook page.

Euthanasia bill

The euthanasia bill is currently going through the Dáil. Conditions are many. Assisted suicide could be coersion. Passive euthanasia already exists, that is a failure to give treatment or if a patient’s treatment is terminated; as does active euthanasia, when a lethal dose of a painkiller, for instance is prescribed and the patient dies over a period of a week or two. Could be when the patient is not coping. Other concerns are legalising a policy that is open to misuse, not involving the patient or listening to their views; and cost related decisions, especially for the elderly

Disbelief as united nations win nobel peace prize

According to recent news the united nations world food programme has won the Nobel peace prize. The programme is believed to allow benefactors to aid a hunger crisis often caused by the u.n. Some believe that many charities are only allowed to help states who have complied to u.n. detail. The u.n. who are known to exploit, kill and lie under the guise of peace, in certain circumstances known to themselves, allow or disallow minimum aid. The reason why only minimum aid is permitted is questionable, many believe it is connected to third world debt, sometimes termed acrimonious because of deceipt. Questions posed over the years may be connected to news that billions of dollars have left the u.k. for off shore accounts. Fort Knox in the USA may be another depositary for exploited assets

New legislation for fossil fuels to be approved

The climate action and low carbon ammendment bill 2020 has been described as a dictate for the future, in this case until 2050. Unknown legislators means the state is answerable and will have to explain their carbon foot print in everything they do, as will local businesses. Rising carbon taxes are predicted, though the green party insist that there will be supports for the less well off. No details.

Diesel and home heating were mentioned as examples of unenvironmental sources of power though a haze has to develop to be detrimental. Oil heated radiators don’t create air pollution.

According to the report, special committees will preside over the government with regard to emissions, and international penalties have been discussed. The green party say the new legislation should become law on schedule by next year if the proposed carbon budget is met. By whom isn’t said, though taxes for fossil fuels is reportedly the key. Funding is then proposed to bleed the atmosphere of green house gases and store them, but will this reduce emissions?

burn fossil fuels at extremely high temperatures for nuclear activity, probably the main cause of climate change. The burning of fossil fuels is also used in the production of electricity, seen as a friendly alternative.

No link to Golden Dawn

According to a report a five year court hearing ended with the leadership of the Golden Dawn, a political party in Greece who were charged with directing murder, being found guilty of operating a criminal gang that targeted opponents. The accused have denied all charges.

The Golden Dawn are reportedly a nationalist party, beginning in the seventies. According to the report the charges centre around four or five murders said to involve foreign migrants; in particular, four Egyptian fishermen were killed. Believed to have been due to poverty resulting from the Greek economic crisis and no real connection to the party. Following the verdict there were protests and emotional scenes outside the court.

Brexit talks; borders and ethics

Brexit conferences reportedly continued in London this week. According to a chief negotiator for Britain, state aid is an issue requiring conflict resolution between Britain and the eu, but time is running out. According to the report, another negotiator and cabinet minister said that in the event of British northern Ireland protocol succeeding, that is no borders, areas of disagreement might be resolved; thought to be banking legislation as well as social welfare.

Reportedly Britain say they will not write a treaty with the eu divulging the design of their system. According to Britain, more formal negotiations are required next week before a meeting of the eu council scheduled for Thursday.
