Julian Assange reportedly goes to the old bailey today. Previous lead up hearings have attracted supporters protesting, some of whom were allowed near the court, some appearing on t.v. All held banners protesting about extradition to the u.s. No banners for peace, against torture or calling for his freedom seemingly allowed.
On one occasion he was seen on t.v. leaving court surrounded by a group of men who were dominating his every move, forming a barrier seemingly keeping him away from his supporters and disallowing him from talking to supporters or to t.v. cameras. Following this, reports were that he was not well enough to go to court but reportedly attended hearings by video link. In the absence of u.s. support the question remains, Is Julian allowed to meet with eu delegates?
