According to a report, the foreign ministers of Niger, Burkina Faso and Mali met in Niamey on Thursday to discuss boosting cooperation. Reportedly, General Tiani signed two orders authorising the defence and security forces of Burkina Faso and Mali to intervene on Nigerian territory in the event of an attack.
According to reports, ecowas has rejected the coup leader’s three year plan towards civilian rule. Reportedly, the door to diplomacy with the new regime remains open.
