Israeli prime minister speaks to u.n.

In his speech to the u.n. general assembly on Friday the israeli prime minister urged palestinians to reconcile themselves to the state of Israel. He began with an analogy of two israeli mountains, mount Gerizim, the site on which a great blessing would be proclaimed, and mount Ebal, the site of a great curse. He said that the blessing was the enjoyment of peace and prosperity, the curse, war, terrorism and despair.

He went on to talk about the possibility of normalising relations with Saudi Arabia, and said that palestinians could benefit from a broader peace and should be part of the process. He said that making peace with more arab states would increase the prospect of making peace between Israel and palestinians. He went on to say that relations with Saudi Arabia have warmed and that he is looking forward to a historic peace and the end of the arab israeli conflict. He said that peace agreements with the United Arab emirates, Bahraine, Sudan and Morrocco have boosted trade and investment.

He talked about peace and what it means to him, an end to the horrors of war. And he talked about the benefits and dreams of artificial intelligence. He said that Israel is to be a major hub in trade routes connecting europe to India, Africa and beyond. Could be controvesial.
