According to a report a variant of the corona virus has been identified, initially in Ireland reportedly among Spanish farm workers. According to the report the new variant has spread throughout Europe during autumn and is said to be prevalent in Ireland, Spain and the u.k. Interestingly it is said to have accounted for 60% of covid cases in Ireland and 80% of cases in the u.k. and Spain. Spanish flu was a pandemic believed to have begun in Spain during the first world war. Reportedly it infected 500 million people. Deaths unable to be counted.
