Iran’s presidential election

According to a report, 30 million votes were cast in Iran’s presidential election on Friday. Reportedly, reformist Masoud Pezeshkian won, acquiring 53.7% of the vote and defeating his traditionalist rival, Saeed Jalili. According to reports, the election follows the death of president Ebrahim Raisi in a helicopter crash on May 19.
