Iran uses ballistic missiles in Iraq

According to a report, a ballistic missile strike on Monday near the city of Irbil in the kurdish region of Iraq was claimed by Iran, who said they struck one of the main israeli espionage headquarters in the region; four people were killed. Reportedly, on Tuesday morning three armed drones were shot down over Irbil airport where u.s. and international forces are stationed. According to the report, Iran has carried out attacks in the region before, targeting what was said to be sites used by iranian seperatists and israeli agents.

Reportedly, Iran said they also targeted islamic state groups in Syria on Monday night. According to the report, Iran’s revolutionary guards said the strikes were in retaliation for the suicide bombing that targeted crowds marking the anniversary of iranian general Qasem Soleimani’s assassination by the u.s., the attack killed atleast 94 people.
