According to reports, tánaiste Micheál Martin is attending an eu foreign ministers meeting in Kyiv in what is the first ever meeting outside the eu. Reportedly, the eu’s foreign policy minister, Josep Borrell convened saying that Ukraine’s future lies within the eu, the meeting is to show solidarity.
According to the report, the eu have funded Ukraine €84.82 billion. Reportedly the u.s. have been the second biggest funder at €69.49 billion, though congress did not support president Joe Biden’s request to provide more security assistance to Ukraine.
