According to a report, goods imports from Britain have decreased by more than a fifth since Brexit, and by €3.3 billion from January to November 2021. Reportedly, during the same time goods imports to Britain totalled €13.4 billion an increase of more than 20%.

Reportedly, there has been a decrease in British imports of animal and food stuffs, however there has been an increase in imports of chemicals, machinery and transport equipment.

According to the report, globally Ireland export €151.7 billion worth of goods including electrical machinery, appliances and parts and organic chemicals.

According to the report, imports from the north have increased by 64% while exports to the north have increased by 50%.
