Court rules against tariffs

According to a report, the republican administration has asked the court of international trade to delay Wesnesday’s order blocking the president ‘s tariffs, warning that enforcement of the ruling will cause a foreign policy disaster scenario. Reportedly, three judges found the tariffs to be too extreme and not meeting the condition of being an unusual and extraordinary threat that would allow the president to act alone, stating the International Emergency Economic Powers Act which the president used does not give him unlimited power to impose tariffs.

According to the report, the judgement continued, It is critical for the country’s national security and the president’s conduct of ongoing delicate, diplomatic efforts that the court keeps their judgement. Reportedly, the case now goes to the u.s. court of appeals.
