Britain’s no border policy

A new u.k. bill not implemented yet threatens to override a previous international agreement in the event of a no deal Brexit, supposedly by the end of the year. The bill supposedly does not recognise borders and tariffs, firstly between Britain and Ireland, then on the island of Ireland.

The as described northern Ireland protocol reportedly relates to the Belfast agreement and Britain’s wishes on exiting Europe, that is a no border policy. Though described as a way to maintain the balance between two communities, no balance is seen as supposed by the British protocol. If the no border protocol is questioned as it is, there is an idea of implementing a referendum. Probably in favour of Britain as not that many republicans are thought to still reside in northern Ireland. Britain’s commitment to a no border policy is specifically British Ireland.
