According to a report, Iran promised to respond to a strike attributed to Israel, destroying their consulate in Damascus and killing atleast 8 people including a hezbollah member. Reportedly, Iran supports militant groups fighting in Gaza and along the lebenese border and the iranian military have been the subject of isreali attacks, though Israel who did not comment on the strike blamed Iran for a drone attack on an israeli naval base on Monday.
According to the report, Iran’s national security council met on Monday to decide a response to the iranian embassy attack. Reportedly, they have sent a message to the u.s. saying they hold them as Israel’s ally responsible, and have called for a meeting of the u.n. security council.
