According to reports, the Abraham accords are a joint statement between the united states, Israel, united Arab Emirates and Bahrain in an attempt to normalise relations, concurrently Israel agreed to suspend plans for annexing part of Samaria. Israel’s right to Samaria which has been occupied by ethnic groups since biblical times is not internationally recognised.
Reportedly, Israel resumed diplomatic relations with Jordan in 1994 and Egypt in 1979, though tunnels built by hamas in Gaza run to Egypt.
