The republican left of Catalonia, known as e.r.c., founded in 1931 is reported to be abstaining from approving Spain’s acting prime minister for a new term.
According to the media, Spain has been racked by political uncertainty since the financial crisis of 2008. Many countries were reportedly unable to bail out their financial sectors resulting in multi billion dollar loans.
It is unknown why the e.r.c. are abstaining in the vote for Sánchez’s as called socialist workers party who took over from former prime minister Mariano Rajoy’s People’s party in 2018.
