Extensive report on sexual abuse

Reports of sexual abuse within the catholic church have been extensive. The church has, according to reports failed to deal with the problem. There has been many investigations according to one source but some media reports instances of priests believed to be guilty of abuse being relocated rather than face the consequences of their actions.
Abuse within the catholic church has been the subject of media attention, beginning during the sixties and becoming more and more widespread. This has led to much anger and criticism. An extensive report on the subject revealed that claims of sexual abuse within the catholic church were about the same as those reported in the wider community.
The report which studied the phenomena of sexual abuse, differentiated peadophilia, said to be very rare, from what is described as sexual abuse and under age sex; the definition of which occurs after puberty and is more widespread.
The report concluded that with regard to sexual orientation, homosexuals are more inclined to be attracted to minors.
