The recent opening of the Rose Fitzgerald Kennedy Bridge, described as the longest bridge in Ireland, was attended by Rose’s grand niece.
The bridge is situated near Dunganstown, where Rose’s family lived. It crosses the river Barrow between Wexford and Kilkenny. Described as gorgeous, it is 887 metres long.
Rose is mother to the Kennedys.
